Personal data in this context is any forms you complete at the start of, or during therapy including your name, address, medical history, issue you are seeking therapy for and related information including my notes.

Data collected automatically

The computer systems and the applications dedicated to the functioning of this website detect, during their normal operation, some data (the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols) not associated with directly identifiable users.

The collected data includes the IP addresses and the domain names of the computers used by the users connecting to the site, the addresses in the Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (success, error, etc.) and other parameters concerning the operating system and the IT environment used by the user.

These data are processed, for the time strictly necessary, for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its regular operation. The provision of such data is mandatory as it is directly connected to the web browsing experience.

I receive supervision as part of my ongoing training and development where my cases are discussed.  During supervision, all data will be sufficiently anonymised to the extent that individual clients cannot be identified. Should you indicate that your data should not be used for these purposes, I would refrain from using that data.

Your data will never be passed to a third party without your express consent, always provided that such confidentiality is neither inconsistent with my safety or yours, your family members or other members of the public, nor in contravention of any legal action or legal requirement.

In accordance with my need to maintain the possibility of access to client data as a result of returning clients or those who may wish to lodge a complaint in respect of my professional services to either my professional body or my insurers (i.e. in all cases perhaps after a long period of time has elapsed), I retain client data for a minimum period of 7 years. For clients under the age of 18, data will be retained until their 25th birthday.
