Anxiety can have many symptoms; social anxiety, unwanted habits, insomnia, fear, worry, panic attacks, low self-esteem, negative thinking, work related stress, unnecessary and excessive anger, tension headaches and many other things that simply refrain us from doing good things in life. The anxious person can get to a point when even little things can cause tension, affect the thoughts and, in worse cases the behaviours, which can then cause many other, unwanted issues in life.
The good news is, that we can control our tension and learn how to relax our muscles. The Muscle Relaxation techniques, that are combined with hypnosis, are all evidence-based and their incredible effects have been observed and measured by scientists.
Deep muscle relaxation is much deeper than a simple relaxation or sleep and can help releasing the physical tension that causes emotional problems and many other obstacles in life. When the tension is released it is also much easier to see and solve the problems that cause a vicious circle, which was mentioned in the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy section.
Once the techniques and the coping methods are learned, it will be much easier to recognise and tackle the early signs of tension. This will also create a much more relaxed and natural state which will help to stay in control of our feelings, thoughts, behaviours and decisions. Deep relaxation can also be combined and used very well with Mindfulness.
