WHAT BENEFIT CAN YOU GET FROM CBT and HYPNOTHERAPY?

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a type of psychotherapeutic treatment that helps people learn how to identify and change destructive and automatic thought patterns that have a negative influence on emotions and behaviour. It is an excellent way to understand where the issue comes from and how to resolve it. We can understand why we get anxious, why we have a certain reaction, why we make bad decisions, or why we end up in the same situation. CBT is a fantastic way to understand how things are connected and how we can change the outcome of a situation or decision.

Combining CBT with Hypnotherapy will deepen the effect of the desired outcome and can be used with all treatments. These techniques are all evidence based and approved by the British Psychological Society, one of the leading authorities of psychology in the world that marque guarantees the top quality of the knowledge. Hypnotherapy itself is one of the oldest, evidence-based therapy that can be used safely and successfully for various mental health and everyday life problems.

MY WAY OF WORKING WITH YOU

You request 20 minutes free call

You can reach out to me by email, or by submitting the Contact form. Once we agreed on a convenient time, we will have 20 minutes phone call or video call to discuss what you would like to work on and what goal you would like to achieve. All sessions are completely confidential and non-judgemental. This is not an opinion-based therapy but follows the evidence-based studies and techniques. My aim is to understand what your individual needs are and give you the best advice on how we can work together. What is the next step?

Assessment and consultation – 50 minutes (Google Meet, Skype, Teams, Zoom or WhatsApp)

This is a particularly important part of the process because the therapy plan will be based on the information you share with me. I want to make sure that you are safe and well assessed. I will introduce you to Hypnotherapy, Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and the cycle of the thought, emotion, and behaviour. We will discuss the issue, your values and what outcome you would like to have from the sessions. I will also explain why our therapeutic alliance is important and how we will work as a team.

Further regular sessions – 50 minutes per session

We will continue working together on the desired goal which will be combined with the personalised techniques. I will record these exercises for you to listen to at home or wherever you are. We might agree on doing some Action plan/homework in between sessions. This is a very useful part of the process because you can monitor your own progress immediately and have the opportunity discuss it on the following week. Sometimes we might change our plan, simply because your priorities might change, which is completely fine. Typically, treatments require 4 – 6 sessions, depending on the issue, with each session one week apart, however in some complex cases it can take up to 20 sessions, or even more. The number of sessions will not define you or your abilities, because every individual is different and needs to be respected for who they are.
